What makes Christ able to show you an escape from the temptation that plagues you? Today, when you are tempted, turn your head and heart to Christ.

What were the Jewish people told to do? What did they do? What did God do in response? Of the enemies of God, how many escaped? Today think about the battles you are facing in your life. Go to the Lord in prayer about them and ask what He would have you do about the struggle or threat. Cry out to Him and trust Him

Who was Jehoshaphat? Was he a friend or foe to God and God’s people? What did he resolve to do? What happened when he called the people to come? From whose kingdom did they seek rescue? Where did their trust to keep going come from? From where are you looking for help in your calamity?
